- Ardetta Irene Schneider KRUM — Ardetta Irene Schneider, 69, of Krum died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at her residence. She was born March 7, 1936, in Rock Falls, Ill., to Herman Leslie Folsom and Flora Mae Brotheridge Folsom. On Jan. 24, 1953, she married George Eugene Schneider in Rock Falls, Ill. He preceded her in death. She retired as supervisor after working 25 years for GTE in Denton. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Cooper Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Bobby Bryan will officiate. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 13, at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton. Survivors include three sons, Mark Schneider and Victor Schneider, both of Krum, and Daniel Schneider of Denton; one daughter, Georgia Oringderff of Denton; her father and stepmother, Herman Folsom Sr. and Beverly Folsom of Brownsville; five brothers, Herman Folsom Jr. of Penbroke Pines, Fla., William Folsom of Elmhurst, Ill., David Folsom of Bridgeview, Ill., Arthur Folsom of Rochelle, Ill., and Steven Folsom of Freestone; three sisters, Stephanie Marrocco of Coventry, R.I., Alice Hammond of Buffalo, N.Y., and Lydia Burnett of Jewett; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Ann’s Haven Hospice.
